A surprise on the negative side is how bad the Royals have been this season, and how well Roger Clemens has adjusted to the National League.

As a pitcher, changing leagues is easier than it is for a hitter.

Anyways, my big surprise is how several teams have been playing, but the biggest is Beltre. Usually he doesn't start his season until the all-star break, someone must've told him the season started in April, not July.

My biggest surprise is an obvious choice as the Detroit Tigers. I thought this team was so bad, that not even Pudge could bring that winning attitude, but maybe Pudge is making the impacting everyone hoped he would. In a way I'm surprised, but I'm more happy to see this team do well. Also, they are in a wide open division. I can honestly see the Motor City Kitties in the playoffs this season.
