I enjoy when the Braves actually play well.

Yes…nice to see them putting a little string together here of decent play.

I wonder what the league wide percentage is on failing to score any runs with bases loaded no outs.

Cool moments late in the Cincy/SF game. 2 run homer in the top of the 9th putting the Reds in the lead and a double by Posey to tie it up in the bottom.

            Going to extras now.

Frustrating game, regardless of what happens. Reds have had so many chances and have done ****.

Didn't see the Braves sweeping the Phils in Philly…back in first for the day at least.

Cards have been frustrating to watch all season...

Matheny and GM John Mozeliak never seem to be on the same page....

They call up Tavaras for like 2 weeks and then send him back down. Why? I'm not sure if it has to due with avoiding the arbitration super 2 rule or if they just think he is not ready or if they feel like he won't get enough bats. Holliday has a no power this year and Craig has an awful OBP and Adams struggles vs lefties, while Tavaras has not struggled. He has an even split for the most part.

Oh and they also feel that he can't play CF, but yet they have him playing there in AAA.

So as of now we have a useless bench of Kozma, Descalso, Cruz, Bourjos, and Robinson. They all have career OPS's under .700 and most are barely over .600. None of them have any special splits either, but Matheny loves to play these guys vs every lefty, while guys like Grirchuk and Tavaras could be facing them.

You'd think with a team in the middle of a playoff push that is struggling to score runs would....you know use their best players, but not this team.

The pitching injuries don't concern me. Kelly will be back soon and Martinez needs a chance at starting anyways. Lynn, Miller, and Wainwright will be fine and we also have Lyons and Gast in the minors. The offense is what is concerning me and their approach this year. I've never seen a teams philosphy try to preach to pound the ball in the dirt and rely on singles...but this is what this team does and it is annoying as hell to watch.

Clayton Kershaw missed the entire month of April and really didn't start his season until May 6th….and yet he has NINE wins already (in 12 starts). His K/BB ratio is 10+…the dude is amazing.
