The Yankees only real bargaining chip is C Dionar Navarro, Navarro is almost ready for the Majors and will have nowhere to play in New York with Jorge Posada Catching.

The big teams that are looking to make themselves better, like the Yankees or the Dodgers, are stuck with the same problem of not having anything to deal, the Yankees will most likely have to include Navarro in a trade, look at the Dodgers-P Edwin Jackson is really the only player in there system anyone wants in a trade, the Angels balked at a deal with the Orioles that would have sent Ramon Ortiz to Baltimore for Buddy Groom, why?, because Ortiz is the Angels most tradeable commodity because they are not about to deal Casey Kotchman or AA 3B Dallas McPherson.

Dodgers could move Joel Hanrahan and Yhency Brazoban to fill needs. Anaheim could move Bobby Jenks or Jeff Mathis. They have tradable(sp) prospects that teams are interested in, they just haven't found a deal they like. If Anaheim wants to give up DeVanon and Mathis plus another prospect they could probably get Beltran.

With all of Bengie Molina's recent injury's it's doubtfull the Angels will trade Mathis, Jenks could be possible, but the way Bartolo Colon and John Lackey are struggeling and now Aaron Sele is on the shelf wih "shoulder fatigue" the Angels may not want to trade Jenks either.
The Dodgers do have some good young Pitchers, but Jackson is the ready to step in now, which is what appeals to other teams,
interstingly, there has been talk about the Dodgers maybe looking to move Paul LoDuca in a trade, and was even suggested a trade with Toronto, LoDuca and a couple of those Pitching prospects to the Blue Jays for Carlos Delgado.
Any one else think that this is not a good deal for Toronto?.

Thats a terrible deal for the Dodgers. Keep your pitching.
