The season starts a week later this year. ST usually starts a week later when the season starts later.

I went to Hohokam Park yesterday (got a ton of autographs) and I must say they did a really nice job renovating this place. I'm in Goodyear today checking out the Reds and Indians. Got Corey Kluber and Brandon Moss' autographs so far.

Apparently Buck had them pipe in the recorded crowd from Delmon Young's double in Game 2 during pop-up drills and someone who lived close by called the cops

Ladies and gentlemen, Spring Training baseball games officially start tomorrow!
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

That sucks, luckily they have a lot of depth in the starting rotation.

SMH. Saw this yesterday, apparently he jumped off his truck while unloading things, and broke his right foot. Which is the plant foot, and that worries me. At least Samardzija is there this year.

I was also at Sloan Park today and it was the only thing people were talking about.

Instead of saying outfield, I wish they'd just say LF. I just don't see them moving Soler from RF. He looked pretty damn good there last year.

Forgot to mention this the other day. When I was at the Cubs camp earlier in the week Joe Maddon said he plans on using Alcantara in a Ben Zobrist type of role.

Because most of that lineup today won't even be on the big club this year. First exhibition game of the year anyway. Who cares.

I get it, doesn't mean squat but still...professionals should not lose to a division 2 college baseball team, in any kind of game, exhibition or not.

I get it, most of those guys except Herrera, Hernandez and Ruf aren't even in contention of playing and the Spartans player hit a grand-slam off of a guy whose highest level obtained is AA.

Have to love that baseball is here and back!

Well considering that most everyone on the field were pretty close in age, there isn't that big of a difference in level of play. It's not like Utley and Hamels and Howard lost today.
