Re: Tribe putting the hurt on the Yanks

Hopefully the Tribe can close the gap between them and Minn. enough so that it will come down to their final series (the last games of the season) to see who wins it. Ill be semi-satisfied if the tribe come within 3 games of winning their division. But Id be more satisfied if they win their division.

Wow, considering the team involved this might be the single worst ***-kicking in major league baseball history. Embarassing. Especially since many yankee fans are only yankee fans because they can't stand losing.

I don't which is worse.. this or getting no-hit by the Astros bullpen last season... then losing the World Series once again in spite of outspending everyone else in baseball by an extraordinary ammount. wow. pretty sad.

even so that bullpen is overworked and when the postseason rolls around that will bite the yanks in the ***. my team did do the same not put up 22 runs but waltzed into yankee stadium and shut out them in game 6 and walked away champs .

Their starting pitching is pretty bad. Looking back, was Esteban Loiza a good pickup? lol

                            Eh, things like this happen.

Most important for the Yanks is how they come out of this.

22-0 is the same as 1-0 in the standings. The difference is how the Yanks react to it.

Knowing this roster (and there are a lot of guys with pride on this team, but of course the same can be said of every other MLB team), they'll play especially hard today. We'll see.

If the Yanks go on to have a monstrous losing streak then we can thank the Indians. However, this could also end up being much like their 1-3 start in 1998, you know? Anything can happen.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
