I'm talking truth. You stated that the Yanks haven't won a championship since 2000. I stated that despite all that, they've been in 6 of the past 7 World Series' which isn't arrogant. It's the truth.

I personally don't look at losing in the World Series as a failure. Don't confuse me with the typical "We have 27 championships, what do you have! HAHA" Yankee fan.

If you think winning the AL Pennant is a failure than that's on you. I don't.

sry to throw you in that bunch however i know George disagrees with the just winning AL Pennant isnt a failure.

Nah, it's cool. (also, it should be 26 championships, not 27 - maybe I'm being too hopeful )

I agree with you that George doesn't see the Pennant as an achievement. The Yankees are like the Nebraska's, Miami's, USC's, etc. of College Football. You don't win a championship and the entire season was a waste. I can understand that thinking, but it's not even like the Yankees were the best team in baseball the past three years (I'm sure some Yankee fans will argue with me, but I'm sorry they weren't - and keep in mind that I don't think winning a championship makes you the best team in the league. It only makes you the champion. If St. Louis loses Edmonds and Pujols for the playoffs and get beat by Chicago, for example, I wouldn't say that Chicago was the best team in baseball. You know?)

Anyway, I guess I just love baseball and appreciate the entire sport. I try to not be blinded by my pride in a team.

Yea, I was going to comment on your Duke logo.

I'm sure you get a lot of heat for being a fan of their college basketball team.

I, personally, don't dislike Duke, but I just hate how Dickie V always hypes them up. Sometimes, I just wish Dickie V would shut up about them and their players. So, I guess, I can say I dislike the hype, not the team. Which might be similar to your feelings on the Yankees (or if not you, someone else that doesn't like them).
