Haha, Andrelton can play defense, his hitting is getting better, but he cannot slide into a base no matter if it is second, third, or home. It's ugly and he's lucky he hasn't been hurt this year with all of the bad slides.

Ian Desmond is too good to be so uninstinctive.

Melvin Upton Jr thinks Andrelton is a good slider...lol.

They better throw at Simmons next AB for his dirty slide into DNO

Trust me, that wasn't a dirty slide. Simmons doesn't know how to slide into any base. He kills himself every stolen base attempt. If Norris was further out, Simmons slide would've probably been just as ugly still.

Well since the Astros are fading (as predicted) the door is open for the Mariners, if only they were to find out it is actually in fact legal to hit the ball with that wooden thing called a bat.

Even though Carson gave up a HR and allowed a bloop single, I felt a hell of a lot more at ease than I would have had it been crooked hat. Didn't feel like a roller coaster ride.

The Astros are fading? They're on a losing streak. Sure they're 3-7 in their last 10, but Seattle, 7 games behind Houston, is 2-8 in that same span. So don't expect the M's to go through that open door any time soon.

The M's can't even score 3 runs or more on a consistent basis. I mean, maybe they can get their act together but man...They may have buried a hole that's too deep to climb out of.

The Reds suck but that Joey Votto guy is still really good when he's actually healthy.

As I've said I doubt we do anything this year. And it might be for the best since it would likely mean Jack Z gets fired. Also what we're really missing is a table setter at the top of the lineup who can swipe bases. That's why I think we should call SS Ketel Marte up. He's hitting .345 with 17 sb in AAA. Not bad for a 21 year old. He's hit at every level hes been at. His D had been inconsistent, but I think it's time to give him the call. I believe he's our SS going forward.

Doubt many Giants fans even know this is going on because of that other silly sport with a big game tonight.
the baseball over everything fans (like me) were locked onto this then went to the Finals....i honestly dont get y anyone would watch a 1st half over the last few innings of a Giants game but thats just me. Really like everything about Heston and love that he seems to accept that his days in 2015 in the majors are numbered considering Cain and Peavy stay healthy once they join the team again. 2016 spot should be all his tho!
