Bartolo has 9 wins? Nothing that guy does is surprising anymore at this point. It's sure fun to watch too.

Clayton Kershaw throws another gem another getting drilled in the ribs by a line drive in the 1st inning, gets taken out after 6.2 innings, watches Yimi Garcia misplay an easy popfly that should have ended the inning and led to a go-ahead 2-run jack, and had this "I had this kind of performance and you losers blew it" look on his face in the dugout.

      It was pretty funny.

I've read several articles now and I see no mention of the flu.

I did see one that called Jesus Sucre the front-runner for the Cy Young though, lol.

Listening to sports talk radio the loss that ended our season was the second game of the day/night doubleheader against the Twins last week. But I would probably call that the worst loss of the season. We were up 8-1 after 5 innings and ended up losing.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I saw that yesterday Felix Hernandez was just the 11th pitcher since 1969 to allow 8 runs without recording 2 outs. I didn't realize it was THAT rare.

Anyway, I hope the Astros didn't blow their wad yesterday. They'll probably get blanked today and tomorrow after that, lol.

Brett Oberholtzer is trash. Dint let this game fool you, Mariners have a fetish for making crappy pitchers look like studs.

                      Jays fans...

Any guess how long Reyes will stay healthy?

Seriously though, guy is playing out of his mind right now; for that matter, the entire offense is. Watching the highlights from yesterday's win against BOS was incredible -- even the Farrell spat was entertaining.

With Reyes it's always a dicey thing but I can explain one reason for his amazing play since he's come back from injury. Jerry Howarth, the long time voice of the Blue Jays a couple weeks back did a radio spot where he basically called out Jose, saying he's lost a step or two, is the weakest IF on the team and that there are better defensive options at SS than him. He then went on to make disparaging remarks about Reyes' disposition and how he's always smiling and goofing off on the field.

It became a bit of a story up here but Jose responded back and made Howarth look a bit foolish and since then he's been playing like a man possessed. I dunno about you, but if it takes the radio voice of the Jays to get someone playing out of his mind than maybe he should be dissing the entire bullpen with the exception of Osuna.

Based on when bad things usually happen to Jays,I'd say start of July(not talking about a specific player getting injured, just talking about when things will go downhill). They start the huge PanAm road trip in July(16 of 19 games on road). I see that being the beginning of the end of their season.

At least most of those games are in the midwest. Usually if a season is going to go down the drain it happens on the west coast. I'd be looking at the week of the 21st when they go to Oakland and Seattle.

Yeah, Oberholtzer is nothing special. I know that.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase "fight fire with fire". I chose to "fight stupid with stupid" by mentioning Oberholtzer.

I hope Jays are able to keep it up. Royals ended their big drought last year, hopefully 2015 is end of Jays drought.

It's obviously fun to see them win
