Hopefully this isn't just another typical June for the Jays where they do great in June, then start falling big time come July/August, before trying to catch back up in September, but it's too late.

As long as Martin and Donaldson are around and contributing I don't think it's nearly as likely this year.

I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm surprised to see thr braves doing this.

It's not the offense I'm worried about, it's the pitching(like always)

Last year to end July, they had 2nd WC spot, but then in August the team had ERA of 4.52 and went 9-17.

            2013:
            2.91ERA in June
            4.95ERA in July
            4.61ERA in August
            3.63ERA in September

They just can't pitch in August. The last August that they had ERA below 4...2008!

Jeez...what's with Pedroia completely losing the ball in the sun TWICE in one game?!

EDIT: The way the Sawx are losing this game I wouldn't be surprised if Farrell is canned this evening.

Red Sox are in full dumpster fire mode at the moment. This series hasn't been about the Blue Jays being good as much as it's been the Red Sox not helping themselves in epic fashion.

Burn Fenway to the ground with every player, coach and front office person in it. I'm done.

                  Another summer without baseball.

The one this inning he missed because Bogaerts called him off. And give me Ozzie!!! And I hope Farrell gets canned tonight. The prisoners are running the asylum right now. Also some of the blame for this game needs to go on E-Rod or whoever is calling the pitches. Like I said earlier he didn't throw 1 slider all game. And this the team I was expecting the Jays to be. This offense is scary.

Edit: I lied E-Rod threw 2 sliders in the game. It felt like he didn't throw any.

Yeah, E-Rod threw a few sliders but the majority was the fastball. That's a recipe for disaster against a team that LOVES the fastball.

Either way, Ozzie Guillen or someone with that kind of fire needs to be the new man in charge of the Sawx bullpen.

This Sox regime has 2013, and deserve credit and praise for it. Now, the team is a disaster, and the front office and manager deserve credit and criticism for it. That's the nature of pro sports, and the consequences of failing to achieve continuous success. Wouldn't be surprised to see Farrell go tonight.

EDIT: Can someone send a box of flip down glasses to Fenway for both teams?

This is ridiculous. This isn't even the Mets hitting the ball well, it's the Braves staff throwing every thing down the middle. If you get beat because a guy pulls a high and in fastball down the line or they just hit your good pitches, that's one thing. When every homerun as been as down the middle as possible, that's just ridiculous.

Another game the Braves should win, won't win, and another setback. Foltynewicz was beyond awful and Avilan has been even worse in his 12 pitches. This isn't just on those two pitchers, Fredi has to be held responsible for this to be a common occurrence this far into the year. With how well the offense has played not only today, but all year, it's inexcusable to be out of first place and losing this game.

Yea 2013 is the ONLY REASON Farrell is still the manager this season, IMO. He doesn't have a winning season. This is shaping up to be an exact replica of 2012 and we all know that went.

Edit: Even if they somehow pull out a W, I want Farrell fired.

                            Also Kevin Pillar great arm.

That 5th inning was what I expected from Estrada. His stuff isn't favorable against a team like Boston. Thankfully he burped up that 5 spot after the Jays scored 10 runs.
