    What's going on with Bethancourt?

Or catch. He's letting passed balls by on a regular basis now. He already was a huge part of the loss to San Diego in Atlanta. And had he caught the fastball last inning it's a 1-0 game, not tied.

Nope because I still follow the results and how the team is doing. Like I said the other night, I have the ESPN app and it gives me score alerts for every game and team news etc. I just don't watch games because of the pace of play. That's why I like watching Rodriguez pitch. He gets the ball back and ready to pitch in like 10 seconds whereas other guys take like 20 seconds in between pitches. And it's because of the pitch clock in the minors.

How long have you been watching baseball and did you ever play baseball?

Yea I have played baseball and I am an umpire. But with getting into other sports I have found out that baseball is way too long at the MLB level. And I have been watching as long as I can remember.

                    It's really not though.

You're just listening to the casual fans who think that because they don't understand baseball. And you're sounding very much like a casual fan which I know you aren't.

I wouldn't say too long but there is too much standing around for my liking. Still a lot of improvement can be made (such as restricting pitcher/catcher interactions, batter's box rules, replays, etc.).

I love watching the LLWS or even college baseball because they are ready to play and it's constant action. MLB needs to continue to strive toward this.

I don't recall seeing a catcher get mixed up on signs so much before; he's constantly looking for a changeup or breaking ball and is surprised to get a fastball. He's still raw but has a lot of talent...AJ has played great but think keeping Gerald Laird may have been better served in Christian's development.

Yea I think that is my real problem is the pitchers not getting the ball and being ready to throw. But Rodriguez is one that does and it's because of the pitch clock in the minors. And same here about LLWS. During August I always watch those games. Because the baseball is good and the games are quick. This year I started to go to some of my colleges baseball games and the pace of play was pretty good.

Foltynewicz us lucky to have run support today because he looks terrible.

Foltynewicz has no command on his breaking ball.

Eddy Rodriguez had some horrible luck in that inning and the Jays capitalized on it big time. You know things are out of this world for the Jays when Ryan Goins hits one out.
