    Nice sarcasm my friend

Jose ALWAYS hams it up to the point that the radio PBP guy here (Jerry Howarth) hammered him about it and Jerry is a guy that ALWAYS sees the positive in people. Anywho, i'm sure Reyes is a bit disappointed that he's gone. He, Bautista and EE were tight. I've noticed Bautista is far less animated these days since Reyes has been gone.

As a Phillies fan, I'm ready for them to get a different uniform design, especially the written logo....

        Simple solution:

If you don't want to go back to the baby blues than just use the grey version of the away uniform.

I love that logo...but you still have to spell out Phillies somehow. Just let the stars die with old ABA styles.

P.S. The Fightins with 3 solo shots off Shields tonight. The kid Nola looked composed right before he finished. Get some starting pitching for next year and they could make a little noise (next year), though certainly wouldn't be playoff contenders.

The scariest team that could be in the playoffs in my opinion?? The freaking Mets. That pitching staff can take them all the way.

Good win by the Pirates against a good pitcher. Nice to see Pedro walk it off as well. Love Cole, but his temper seems to get the best of him at times, especially when calls or plays go awry.

Good for McCann for holding him accountable; I'm more upset Ausmus didn't pull Iglesias from the game.

I saw Gose kinda peeved after Iglesias didn't go after a ball "up the middle" but I didn't see the part where he told him to chill (end of that video). When the media approached each player, they all cut it off and said it will be addressed in house so great answers and approach.

I lost all respect for Iglesias but I love it from the other players' perspective...Castellanos, McCann, Gose - they want to play the game the right way.

Edit: What game are you watching, Ausmus? Take a stand, manager.

Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias pushed James McCann in the dugout in the middle of the sixth inning Friday.

“No, I didn’t,” Ausmus said when asked if he had any issue with Iglesias’ effort on the play, in which he did not dive at a ball that he may or may not have been able to make a play on. “I didn’t notice any effort or problems. I didn’t see anything at all.”

When asked if that specifically is what the teammates disagreed on, Ausmus said, “It’s over. I’m not getting into the specifics.”

Blue Jays close to acquiring Cliff Pennington from the Diamondbacks.

It's official now and this is a good depth move for the late innings and to provide relief for Goins and Tulo.

Really fun game in the Bronx so far...both pitchers are really on. Pretty funny how the pitchers are dominating this series against these hot offenses.
