I guess Yankees had to win a game against Cleveland.

Hope this isn't sign of their offense waking up though with 8 runs in this game. Price can cool down the offense tomorrow!

      Pirates needed that win badly.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Really want TOR to win the division but I think NY will take that 1st WC spot.

Good win for NY, lessens the lead for CLE and makes them tied with the Mariners

Need LAA to lose tho and we'll only be 5.5 GB going into tomorrow.

Ya, obviously you'd want division way more than WC. Would suck to see a big playoff push by Jays just end from a single game loss against a team.

Really wanna see what a Jays-Royals matchup in playoffs would be,but it'd require either Jays being WC team to face Royals in ALDS, or both teams winning and making it to ALCS.

Looks like Nats might not make it,and only one of Pirates/Cubs will make it to NLDS. So I guess I'm hoping for Pirates to make WS. Will just seem weird seeing a WS like Jays-Pirates. 2 of least frequent playoff teams in past 20 years facing off in WS.

Honestly, I don't care if it's a WC or the Division. I just want to see the Jays in the playoffs.

I REALLY want to see a series between them and KC. That series would have some major fireworks for sure.

Freaking Kansas City has the best bullpen in the majors, but the one time I actually want them to win for a specific reason, their pen implodes.

Ya,Jays in playoffs would be nice, but even then, just seems like it'd suck so much to see them finally back in,just to lose in WC game. Not saying I think they would lose, especially with Price being their SP for that game, and the offense that they have(which might even be rested too if playoff positions are already determined by the final series in season) but anything is possible in WC game. If they were like Yankees where they're in playoffs basically every year, losing in WC game doesn't sting as much.

The Amazin's are now a 2:1 favorite to win the NL East, per FanGraphs.

I don't think I've seen a team in recent MLB memory get as much hype as the Nationals and accomplish so little.

All this, and Wright is apparently coming back very soon. If he stays healthy, that could be the lock.

LOL, how stupid(this person is a writer for Yankees network and member of IBWAA)

<s>@</s>CharlesGattinBP So the Jays have their 2nd 11 game win streak of 2015. Without those 2 streaks, they are 10 games below .500. Essentially, the Red Sox.
WOW, what a huge revelation! If you take away the 2 biggest win streaks of a teams season, their record looks horrible. I never knew that!

Talk about a stupid and meaningless "fact".
