Mariners down 2-0 and this looks bad already. Only one hit, Sale has 9 Ks thru 5. Knew this was gonna happen. Especially now that Baltimore lost and LA are on their way to a loss.

I felt the same way about the Kuma No hitter. It was on my birthday, but I wasn't excited for the game itself (besides the fact it's an MLB game of course.)

Jays going into Angels bullpen early, which is great news for this series.

Santiago doesn't make it through the 4th. Salas pitched 1.2 and now Gott is pitching. Guessing Angels will use 1-2 more relievers before this one is over.

And on other side of things..Price just 54 pitches through 5 innings.

I feel like every Season Felix is on pace to get maybe like around 20 wins, he goes cold and finishes every season like 12-10 or some **** like that. After tonight, assuming we lose because Chris Sale is Chris Sale, he'll be 14-8, but he very well could be like 16-7 or if he really pitched as well as he has all season he could be like 18-5 or something close to 20 already. It's a shame, I feel like she's about to start regressing (he's only 29, but he started pitching in the majors when he was 19.) hopefully the innings armed hurting his long term value as a pitcher.

Aha, we just notched our second hit of the game! Lead off single by Cruz in the 7th! Sale will probably ask the next three batters but at least we got a second hit

Right as I post this, Cano strokes a hit and its 1st and 2nd no outs, but we've been in this situation before against worse pitchers and have not scored.

Unfortunately I don't trust anyone in our lineup other than Cano, Seager and Cruz at this point. Maybe Guti (our 5-hole hitter tonight and guy batting right now) but that's just one guy.

I don't consider wins to be a main pitching stat, I was just noticing how many wins he could necessarily have if he didn't have horrible 4-5 game stretches where he loses every damn game.

Another thing:

As a Mariners fan, I can't tell you how many times the last 2 or 3 years where we have runners on with one or no outs and we either score one or none. It's horrible, I'd like to see our teams average with RISP over the last year and a half. Horrible.

Also, I can't tell you how many times we've had games like tonight where we get back into the game with time left but then everyone on our team decided to not be able to hit the ball.

I'm sorry about all the complaining but I just needed to let it all out tonight lol.

I wish you guys knew what I was talking about, because I guarentee the stuff I'm complaining about are things that your guys' teams capitalize on. RISP, getting clutch hits when they need it, strong pitching performances, etc. are just things I never see on a day-to-day basis and it's frustrating.

EDIT 2: Rodney comes in for some damn reason and loads the bases, only getting one out. Gonna blow our chance to get back into the game.
