I liked you Houston, I wanted you to win the division. I thought you could've been a contender, you could've been somebody.

      Now you are going down.

NL Wild Card game is bonanzas.

Knowing how these things work though, I'm sure it'll be some 5-1 nondescript affair.

Or maybe it'll be 0-0 after 9 innings. Neither would surprise me.

I'm okay with whoever wins in NL, and want the Yankees in the AL.

If this game didn't exist, I'd pick Pittsburgh to win the World Series or at least make it but hey, who knows what kind of random bull**** will happen in one game that will tip the scales one way or the other.

I know you're upset that your favorite baseball team was cannibalized in the first ever Wild Card Game on a bogus call and ended the career of their all-time franchise player, but you must make your peace with this format.

Yankees have been a complete mess lately. There's virtually no excitement about this team, Tuesday could be an all time bad playoff atmosphere.

But we'll see what happens. Stranger things have happened.

I half expect the Astros to win in a blowout against the Yanks. The Cubs/Pirates game is going to be an awesome game to watch. We'll all be glued to our seats for sure.

It's playoff baseball in the Bronx. People will be excited.

                          We'll see.

Last time we made the playoffs there were alcs tickets for $20 on stubhub, and the yankees moved people down from the upperdeck to hide the empty seats.

The September Blue Jays series this year didn't exactly have buzz.

That's what I was going to post. I know weather impacted some of that, but for being a series that essentially decided the AL East, Yankee Stadium was kinda dead.

Any idea who's pitching in Astros/Yanks?

Never mind...just saw on ESPN it's Keuchel and Prof. Toru Tanaka.
