M's re-sign Franklin Gutierrez and close to signing Chris Iannetta.

    Braves re-sign A.J. Pierzynski.

Jays discussing a multi-year deal with Marco Estrada ahead of the friday QO deadline. This would be attractive to both sides as the Jays would pay less than the qualifying offer price but for Estrada it would afford him long term stability.

Interesting way to open up a spot for Baez on the infield

The Braves are in deep talks with an unknown NL West team. I have a feeling it might be the Dodgers or Giants.

I think that is the idea if they are shopping Solar. I've heard they may play Baez in the OF some this season.

Probably a deal involving Puig...not going to be surprised at all to see him in Atlanta. For some reason, I have this awful feeling they trade Simmons to get him and ride Daniel Castro at SS.

If it's the Dodgers it would be more getting pitching from the Braves. Puig could be involved, but IDK. The Giants need an outfielder and the Braves have a surplus. Wouldn't be surprised if Cameron Maybin ends up in SF.

A win-win for both sides, cause Jays need to try and save as much as they can on retaining guys,so they can go out and get some FA pitchers. And Estrada needs to put up a similar season to earn anything close to 15M a year, so getting a long term deal takes off the pressure.

Getting Estrada locked down long term for cheaper, and possibly trading Tulo for a SP who makes much less money, would help out the team big time.

Not the Giants according to MLBTR... Rotation help to Arizona? Tehren, Minor?
