Do you not think the Yankees would be happy if they had won game seven? Or do you not think that the Red Sox will be mad if they lose in the WS?
still i don't think yankees fans would be this happy as red sox fans, but then again i haven't gone through the "misery" they have gone through. I'm talking about my friends as well and not just people on OS.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Well I'm up here in Boston, pretty hammered off a combo of Sam Adams Octoberfest and Jim Beam, and a die hard Yankee fan. I just took off my Paul O'Neill jersey and laid it to rest.

Anyway, it was a pretty boring Game 7. Not the classic I anticipated. Anyway, every fan up here said they could care less if they win the World Series because their mission this year was accomplished. And the minority left said they would destroy either NL team who wins Game 7 tomorrow.

The Sox have homefield advantage, beat the Yanks, what excuse will they have if they don't win the World Series?

A bit premature with those pictures.

Well congrats to the Sox, they got one monkey off their back. Life will go on for Yankee fans but this series was not lost tonight, it was lost in game 4 and 5. Both games the Yanks had chances to add an insurance run and gould not get the runner home. That kept the door open for Boston and the steamrolled through it. It was a matter of time before Damon got going and the more games the series went the more chances he had. Well he made the most of them. I still have a chance to go to game 3 of the WS if the Cards can win their game 7. It wont quite be the same as seeing the Yanks but at least I will know who to root for should it happen. I think this is Boston's last good chance to win the WS because they have talked about trimming payroll and Pedro and Lowe will most likely be gone. You cant lose 2 arms and expect to win next year. Just ask NY. As for those saying Torre will be gone, I dont see it. He was not out there batting and pitching for them. Yet I know they talk around NY has been about he and Mel not developing any pitchers. Well thats hard to do when they keep getting traded. Even though the Yanks have money to spend, it will not matter if they dont start developing talent from within. From 81-95, George tried to buy players and yet it did not work. We had to wait to build the farm system back up and when Andy Pettite, Jeter, and Bernie finally matured, the Yanks started winning. Well it looks like the decline is finally upon us. It was fun while it lasted. The dominance will continue in 15 years.

Woah, settle down. I thought it to be slightly amusing and you obviously didn't, which is fine, but you don't have to hop on your soapbox to tell me about it.

A disgruntled Yankee fan perhaps? If not, then what's the big deal?

I would have never thought I would see the day where a team came back from 0-3. Unreal. The greatest baseball team ever just completed the biggest choke ever. So is this the year a 16 beats a 1 in the NCAA tourney? On the flip side, this may help the Cubs because if the Yankees first free agent option is Beltran they are stupid. They need pitching so bad it hurts.
