The verdict is still out on Pedro tonight, but Lieber is doing a very good job! Hes throwing strikes and getting grounders. If the Yankees can tac on a few more runs, we'll be in good shape. Unfortunately, that Boston lineup can wake up at any moment.

Seriously. I read your post after I made mine and thought "Damn, that's exactly what I'm saying".

On a side note - Mcarver needs to shut his yap. I'm getting frustrated listening to him right now. He blasted Pedro throughout the first 2 innings and now blasted Damon for an "excuse me" swing. His top hand didn't fall off the bat IMO. I thought Damon was trying to hold up and couldn't.

How do you give the outside pitch for Lieber to Bellhorn and not to Pedro on Sheffield? I'm really starting to question this umpire's consistency.

That inning Pedro's approach looked better. He came right after the Yankees.

good inning for pedro. 10 pitches. He needed one of those. Now the bats need to wake up and give him some help.

McCarver is more concerned with the length of pedro's pants than anything else. god i hate him.
