A silver lining to tonight is that the Yanks lost game one last year and they won the series so the same thing could happen for Boston.

A great effort by the BoSox down the stretch tho.

I am an official jinx, if you saw back, i asked why Mussina was doing so good, and then he starts doing bad.

I say that MO has to face the bottom of the lineup and they do good.

I say the games not over yet, and bill mueller grounds out into a double play.

See the proof. I am the ultimate jinx. So which ever teams fans shower me with more rep points will be able to feel my wrath on their opponents.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I still don't think the Sox can win this series, BUT.. this might be a different team than in previous years. They gave the Yankees quite a fight.

Gotta worry about Game 2 though.

The Yanks scored 4 runs thanks to Manny Ramirez not hustling and being flat out lazy. In the first inning he could of dived mut maybe didn't want to get dirty. Then in the 8th he forgot basic fundamentals in catching a ball hit over your head.

both of those highlights cracked me up, though manny is making more of an effort this year.

Well it was a great game tonight and we almost saw a miracle. Sox go back with a loss but they gotta have some real momentum going into tomorrow. They can still play ball with the Yankees even though they had no baserunners for 6+ innings. They saw the Yankees sweating it out and even though they didn't win the Red Sox gotta be feeling mighty good.

Unless Lieber comes out and pitches like Mussina tonight I see the Red Sox winning tomorrow even though every time Pedro pitches the only thing we're going the hear is the "Who's you daddy chant"

Gotta love those silly Red Sox fans. Alternately, having lost the one game everyone assumed they would win and staring the possibility of their ace getting his brains beaten in once again come game four, Pedro a) cracks under the pressure b) throws the game in an attempt to get Steinbrenner to sign him to an above market deal next year c) has a seizure on the mound after watching video of last year's game seven.

Only a Red Sox fan could take a punch in the face and think it means good news...
