It was like the 9th inning tonight with the David Wright at bat...she immediately comments when Wright comes up that she expects to see nothing but fastballs since Wright has been late on anything above 94 MPH. Sure enough, Davis throws three straight fastballs and Wright is late on two of them and takes strike 3. She is full of little insights like that throughout the game...she prepares, she pays attention, and she's not full of her self. I'm a fan.

Looks like rain might miss this Yankees - Astros opener. Hoping so. Excited to have the game on while at work today.

Re: 4/3 - 4/17 Game Discussion Thread
Late to the party because I was upset, but if the Cards don't find ways to drive in runners its going to be a long season. Waino didn't look like his old self, but he pitched well enough to keep us in the ballgame especially given all the runners we left on base.
Hopefully Tuesday is a better day with the bats.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Not exactly baseball related but Doris Burke is a top 5 announcer for me. Always enjoy listening to her, very thorough and down to earth.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Travel 7 hours from VA to see Opening Day only for it to be rained out and played the next day basically making it impossible to even sell my tickets lol, ****ing hilarious
I'd be more upset except I saw this coming, the weather report was **** for a week, but on top of that all of the Yankees bull**** with stubhub made it very difficult to get tickets in the first place, this was the only way for it to end.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
