I don't get why he's upset...this isn't the 8th inning of a blow out...I hope that isn't why he's going off.
Lackey is a douche. I'm sure he's furious that someone would try to break up his no hitter by bunting.

It's why I've always despised him as a player.

It's Lackey, he'll find something to get worked up over.

Yep. Known this since he was a Cardinal.

Score of this game notwithstanding, I was thinking as I read over the Braves' lineup: "I wonder how many times this Braves lineup will get no hit this year." Then I went to look up some team stats...

last in the NL in homers with 5 (no other team has less than 17)
last in the NL in runs scored (75)
            a team triple slash of .229/.301/.289 (last/13th/last)

I have to say I can see them getting no hit maybe 3 or 4 times, especially having to go against Washington and New York a bunch of times. Fernandez in Miami, too.

There are a lot of places to go and get outs in this lineup. That said, when Inciarte gets back that pushes one of the weaker bats out and in the 2nd half we might see Albies/Swanson in the lineup, so maybe we see some improvement.

I don't know. Usually cellar-dwellers sell off what vets they do have as the season goes on, so if anything the lineup could get younger and more inexperienced if ever so slightly more talented.

They aren't hitting. Jake Arrieta has a higher wRC+ than Justin Turner, Yasiel Puig, and Corey Seager.

Speaking of not hitting, we're still getting shut out by Teheran.

Dodgers middle of the NL pack in runs scored (8th) and OBP (9th), 2nd to last in the NL in HRs. Pitching has been a bit better than I expected it would be--LAD among the better staffs in the NL along with Washington, Chicago, and New York in most areas. Maeda has basically replaced Greinke.

I wonder if the Yankees can score a ****ing run today. We're like the Braves of the AL. We just hit a few more meaningless hr's.

lol, leave it to Clayton Kershaw to drive in the first run.
