Stat of the day: since no-hitting the Dodgers last year, Jake Arrieta has more no-hitters (2) than losses (1).

Now we just have to see if it pans out...
Can you let the Yankees know they should have started a couple years ago?

A lot of teams always wait too long. It makes the process much longer and eventually they lose patience and kill it.

Padres are the most recent example.

It actually has taken longer to catch up NY than I thought it would...for the last 5 years I keep expecting them to fall off a cliff and it doesn't happen. So far this year it looks like it might be finally catching up.

There were opportunities for soft reboots in the last few years and things we could've avoided I guess if we really wanted (Ellsbury being one I wish we did), but with A-Rod signing for 10 in 07, and Teix and CC still on the books for this year and next, there was never a great chance for a true rebuild. Im also not sure Cashman is great at building a farm system, we haven't really gotten a ton of hits out of our system other than Cano. Phil Hughes was a hit for Minnesota I guess.

What is this? Four homeruns for the Yankees, and we're only through three innings.

Make that 5 homeruns now for the bombers, Beltran with two of them.

                      Kluber against the Astros tonight: 2.2 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 3 K

First time he's been chased from a game without completing 3 innings since September 2014.

                      Astros lead 5-0 through 3.

It's almost like they couldn't find a pic of him and just threw that up there. I base that on also having the MLB logo behind him as well.

Still, shouldn't he be in a Blue Jays uniform there?
