    Trout, Pujols and Simmons.

It was a fun game. Too bad the bullpen blew Weaver's start. Not going to get too many solid starts from him nowadays. Man, the lineup outside Trout is pitiful. Can't believe Cron had 3 hits tonight though. No memorable defense but at least I got to see Simmons get a two-run single. Fun time as always. I wish I lived closer.

I wish the Yankees understood the value of a guy like Colon. Every team seems to have fun while winning except for the Yankees.

I wish we could have those Nick Swisher and Burnett days back.

The only guy on the Yankees with any kind of real emotion is Starlin Castro IMO. I've watched a couple games and they seem like such an uptight team. It can work when they're winning but when things go downhill fast like this year having a team so stuck in their ways and without that kind of "WOO WOO Let's have fun boys!" personality it can make the atmosphere pretty damn stifling. It'll be interesting to see how they play against another team that's struggling out of the gate in the Royals.

Let's not get too carried away in making Starlin Castro our model "intangibles" player.

The Jays should just never trade for a high leverage reliever again. I don't care how much sense it makes, it always blows up on them. Storen has been inept.

Texas and Detroit were tied at 2 in the top of the 8th with 2 outs, Detroit hit Andra to load the bases, Bobby Wilson hit a Grand Slam, followed by a solo shot from DeShields.

Mariner fans finally getting to see the Robinson Cano I saw for so many years in pinstripes.

He can carry a team for weeks folks, he gets into a zone and saw it all too often.

Phillies take 2 of 3 from the Marlins. 18-14 on the season. On to Atlanta for 3 starting Tuesday.

White Sox sweep the Twins. Sox now 22-10.

                    Wow.

They were some people's sleeper pick in the AL Central but I don't think anyone foresaw how complete of a team the ChiSox are early on.

Makes for a fun Summer around here when both teams are kicking ***.

Hope they both keep this up.

Turn on the Cubs game...it's the 7th inning...and Arrieta isn't in the game? That's not a sight you see often...

He was off today. 4 BBs, 6 hits in 5 IP and 100 pitches. His velo was up from his last start.. I'm not sure if he was overly amped because it was Mother's Day or something, but he was pulling his fastball glove side a lot.

Nice "veteran" pitch there Jim Johnson...an 0-2 pitch right down the middle. This team is making me an alcoholic (not really, but man it's tough to watch).

Braves are 32-76 since the ASB last year...it has to come around at some point, right?
