Pirates pitching is horrible. There is no way this game should be 11-9 right now, having to use Feliz and Watson/Melancon. Nicasio is middle relief, Volgesong is done and Cameniro should be demoted. Bring up Tallion and to hell with Super 2 .

Hansen did get his first hit and run scored though.

Cubs still looking done in this game, but nice to see Heyward leave the building finally.

I remember when he would do that as Brave...down 6-0 and he'd go yard.

I don't think it's likely to be a lack of "clutch" or whatever, but probably that he's getting better pitches to hit when the other team has a big lead. It would be nice to get some high leverage ones from him though, too.

No doubt...but it used to be exasperating because put men on in a key situation and he'd go down looking.

Ugh..Rizzo swinging at trash inside curveballs. 4-2 Brewers. Cubs falling off "on pace for" stuff and playing like actual humans lately.

You knew they wouldn't play like that all year...2-4 over their last 6, but they've built up such a lead they could scuffle for a week and still be fine.

Watching Dodgers/Angels and it's almost surreal that we get to see Kershaw against Trout/Pujols.

Vin Scully just said "Wiener" instead of "Weaver" talking about Jared Weaver.

Jered Weaver is garbage. How is this guy still in MLB? He's about 3 years past his expiration date. Dodgers really getting to him here.

Welcome back, Evan Gattis. 2-run homer in the 11th to put Houston back in front of the White Sox, 6-4.

I always liked Matt Albers. [emoji6]

I'm pretty sure I have better stuff than he does at this point.

Kershaw with his 6th straight game of 10+ Ks. This man is still the best pitcher in baseball, as much as I love Arrieta.

Astros hold on for a 6-5 win in 11 innings in their opener in Chicago against the White Sox. Good start against a very good team, particularly after losing a couple of winnable games in Boston over the weekend.

Arrieta doesn't have the track record that Kershaw has, it used to be Kershaw or King Felix.

Kershaw is in a league of his own.

Joc Pederson goes deep twice. Second one was impressive. High and away changeup he took to left center.
