Fernando Tatis Jr.....Man I feel ancient.

Anywho, at least the Padres are eating a good chunk of that contract because Chicago is going to regret picking him up.

Oops. Didn't know you guys were talking trade in here. I posted the same thing in the Off Topic. Someone should start a trade deadline thread, imo.

I like some of them. The teal lettering home alternates are actually pretty nice.

And call me an equipment snob (though you'd be wrong because I actually have a pretty bad eye for it), but I like their gray color on the road unis. Not necessarily the uniform, but the color of gray they use.

What an unfortunate MLB debut for Jason Coats. Here he is walking off the field in Detroit with a probable concussion and a cut lip after he and J.B. Shuck smacked into each other chasing a Miguel Cabrera fly ball in left center. Poor kid.

He's the 2nd Sox player this season to be called up to make their debut, and immediately get injured, Kevan Smith was the other.

And go figure that when Justin Turner finally becomes a durable, every day starter for us, his bat becomes useless.

David Ortiz would probably win AL MVP if the season ended today. Don't think he's going to be in the running by late September, but it's ridiculous what he's doing.

                          Fixed that for you.

It's like their away jerseys are still wet from the washing machine and the mom just told them it'll dry out as they play. They should go back to the purple like the fans want them to.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Yeah I forgot Chase Utley too. It was a matter of time that JT would come back down to earth.

Absolutely ridiculous...the replay of Trayce Thompson's SB in LA was criminal. He looked out in real time...the replay showed he was out by 3 feet...and yet the call stands. I'm done with replay if they are still going to get the calls wrong! I've already talked about how much I hate the current system...if you can't even get the calls right, what good is it?

...and now Kendrick steals 2nd and is OUT by a mile as well, yet called safe.

Again, go figure that Clayton would get our first hit and score our first run.

The guy does everything for us.
