Also, even though we lost, Edwin Diaz looked electric in his debut, 100 mph FB with late movement, to go with an 88 mph change and slider.

EDIT - Wow, he is struggling...I also didn't realize the Cardinals had given him such a huge contract. Yikes...for their sake he better turn it around.
His bat has yet to match what he did at Memphis and Springfield in the 2 years prior to being called up. Hopefully this stint in Memphis will help him find his hitting stroke and allow him to find his way back to the majors.

Its pretty bad when you're being outplayed by Greg Garcia.

Hopefully the Jays can bounce back from their 11-0 drubbing last night. It's weird, Happ has had two of the absolute worst performances for the Jays starting rotation this year and other points he's been pretty good.

              So strange...

Good. I noticed that he was completely dominant in AAA a few weeks back. About time this kid makes a big league pitch.

Jhonny Peralta starting at 3B tonight vs the Reds. Carpenter has moved to 2B and Diaz stays at SS.

The right move for the foreseeable future as long as they all continue to produce. I think Wong still has a role to play on this team before the year is up.

                        Fight night in Baltimore.

                        Machado v. Ventura (Shocker)

Almost looked like Manny hit a DDT on Ventura when they went down. lol

No shocker it's Machado that starts it again.

Ventura needs to grow the hell up. Pitched inside to Manny twice earlier in the game because he was pissed that he was pitching bad and then obviously hits him on purpose/drops his hat and glove. Wish Manny wouldn't have gone with it but I'm not standing up there getting hit with a 99 MPH fastball.

No question Ventura is a head hunter. I don't mean in the sense of throwing at heads, just in that he hits guys when things don't go his way. Grow up.
