Re: 5/31 - 6/12 Game Discussion Thread
About 29 other teams. He throws 100 is still very young, and has shown flashes of dominance in the past. At worst he can turn into a dominant late inning RP who throws north of 100. I'd have ZERO issue with the Mariners buying low on him. Maybe send DJ Pederson, and another mid-level prospect. His anticts don't concern me one bit. That's an easy fix.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

I just heard on sports talk radio earlier (brought up by the hosts not listeners). Either JBJ or Shaw. And I wouldn't be too mad at that trade. Because like Gododgers said Ventura is still young, on a cheap contract and throws hard. And at worst can be the next Wade Davis.

I also wouldn't trade JBJ at this point unless you're getting something that you KNOW will pan out and not some headcase who may be out of the game in 5 years.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I dunno, the guy is immature as hell. That would be a huge risk to take especially in a media market like Boston that WILL get on his case for being such a knucklehead.

You mean the streaky CF that has sucked since his hit streak ended. He is so streaky that's why I wouldn't mind moving JBJ for him. When he first got called up he sucked after a great ST. To the point where he was a throw in, in most trade proposals. He is most likely a .250-.260 10 HR Max guy with a great CF and I know you gotta give up something to get it back in return. He would be the piece I'm most willing to give up for Ventura.

Bullpen reclamation projects aren't worth young, quality CFers.I write things on the Internet.

It goes back to the before conversation we've had in the forums.
MLB eventually needs to step up and levy a hefty penalty for such foolery. There is no reason the league should or for that matter CAN condone somebody throwing 100mph at somebody intentionally, with intent to hurt.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Lol...
Braves sign Kelly Johnson in 2015 and flip him to the Mets for a prospect.
