And now back to back nights the Braves load the bases with no outs and fail to score. This time in the bottom of the 11th.

In 100 years of the live ball era, Freeman was the 3rd Braves player to hit for the cycle.

The Diamondbacks have had 6 in the past 16 years.

Hell, the Rangers have had 5 in the past 6 years.

The Mariners have by far the most rage induceing, grey hair causing, heart stopping, puppy kicking, bullpen in the majors.

Only if you exclude the Reds because their bullpen's failures are just expected.

And the jinx says screw you to Colby Lewis. A double breaks up the no-no.

I dunno, aside from Grilli, Biagini (when he wasn't overworked) and Osuna the Jays bullpen is just as rage inducing.

A's avoid the no-hitter, but man they've dropped out of contention quickly.

I'm tired of this slide rule. I'm not sure what a player can and can't do any more. Pillar gets called out meeting every requirement of the slide. What was he supposed to do? Not even try sliding to the base to avoid the guy? Oh wait! No, because you get called out any way because you didn't slide into the bag.

The thing is, Hernandez is just standing there without a care in the world and Pillar is sliding to the bag. His foot touches Hernandez's foot because IT'S IN THE WAY! What on God's green earth is Pillar supposed to do?! It wasn't even a take out slide either.

I'm telling you, when this rule costs a team a game in the playoffs you're going to see some changes right away.

Ok, so their reasoning was that it wasn't a bonified slide and it didn't allow the defense to complete the play. So, fine, he rolled over so I can see that at least, but if he hadn't done that, pretty sure that puts them both at a bigger risk. Essentially, the runner has to sacrifice his own body to let the defense make the play. That's like in basketball once a guy starts his jump shot, you can't touch him. You foul him, outright free points, just skip the free throws! I get they are trying to protect players, but it's a ridiculous thing to try and judge.
