Cards retaliate for Moss with almost hitting Bryant in the head. Enjoy 2nd place, dirty birds, lol.

Man, even Cardinal fans have to be tired of McCarver at this point.

Annoying that Strasburg got scratched. Even moreso now that I see the game is on ESPN tonight and NOT blacked out for me.

I guess Justin Turner is a "Reverse Pumpkin" now.

The only thing they're probably more sick and tired of is the bullpen. Cards might be in the process of blowing another one as Siegrist starts to warm...

Aye aye aye....Almora hosed at 3rd on a near Rosenthal wild pitch, then Zobrist singles through the hole...would've tied it. Cubs still need another hit.

EDIT: Well, damn. Rosenthal allows 3 base runners and still saves it.

Oh man. What was Almora doing trying to run on Molina is one question. A better one is what the HELL Coghlan was doing not taking 2nd there. He scores on the Zobrist hit.

Tough loss. Rosenthal was once again very shaky.

Cardinals snap 5 game losing streak by hanging on to beat the Cubbies 3-2. Much needed win for the wildcard race.

Anyone know how long the Trout HBP review took last night in the Angels game? Im curious because there's examples of replay being used in obvious situations where it should be quick but it never is. It was very clear in the replay that the ball hit the bat and shouldn't have taken long, im wondering if it did.

Do we put an asterisk by Trevor Story's homerun last night?

Jays-DBacks tonight from Toronto. Last time DBacks played here...lets just say at the time of the game, Gregg Zaun and Danny Bautista were both teams best hitters(Zaun .330AVG, Bautista .313AVG). So long ago, it was still officially called the Skydome.

And in a few months, Padres finally come here as well for first time ever. Surprised at how rare these meetings are at home. I always thought it should be that you played each division in the other league every 3 years, hosting a home series vs them every 6.
