David Price already out of the game...Sox getting shelled in Arlington. At this rate, Texas is on pace for nearly 40 hits

Cubs win...Cubs win. They survive an unlucky 1st inning to snap their 4-game losing skid. Willson Contreras is having a nice impact with a homer and also a go ahead RBI. Pretty soon, I'll even be ok with him spelling his name with 3 "l"s.

Only 101 on his 11th pitch? Lost 2 mph pretty quick there. Gotta work on that stamina

Also I'm excited for the Red Sox future. But then I remember 40% of these players are Boras clients.

Right. Like the Red Sox don't spend money.

Right like they are going to sign off on 3 $150m+ (and 2 of them are going to be over 200m+) contracts as well as paying Price and whatever pitcher they bring in this offseason at another 100m+ Yea we spend money, but never like that.

If only the Blue Jays had something aproximating last year's offense with all this great starting pitching we'd be dominating the AL East.

AAAAARGH! The offense has gone stone cold again.

Thank you Adam Lind for ending the misery! Walk off 3 run homer bottom of the ninth!

I've been defending Trevor Rosenthal for almost a year now. Was never shouting to take him out of the closer's role. Now, I think it's time. He looks completely lost on the mound and has zero command of his fastball. Plus he falls in love with it too much and won't go to anything offspeed to at least keep hitters honest (plus his placement of pitches is horrible at the moment).

Time to let Oh take over the closers spot for at least the time being and let Rosenthal pitch out of the 7th...at least until he gets some confidence back.

His outing in Chicago where he got the save was not exactly seamless and probably should of blown that one if not for Molina throwing out Almora at 3B on the wild pitch

Volquez gave up 12 runs (11 earned) to the Astros in 1 inning of work last night. Houston is now 2 games over .500 for the first time this season.

                                Go Astros!
