I read the Sheffield article in Sports Illustrated and I don't recall him every saying Bonds never used. He did say Barry works out hard, but that was it. Look at it this way - even if Sheffield said Bond's never used, other players who were former teammates say he did.

I meant the interview on ESPN where Sheffield was asked if he thought Bonds used.

Yeah, I think we can't deny that Bonds is arguably the best baseball player ever. So what he's doing now really isn't that unordinary for a player of his caliber. You look at players like Arod and Pujols putting up 40+ HRs and 100+ RBI, so its not that unbeleivable that Bonds gets those numbers as well. I really dont' care how old he is, that really isn't an excuse if you train at the intensity that Bonds does every offseason. The reason people fall off with age is because their training regiments aren't as intense. Bonds is basically training like a pro football player every offseason, not many people in baseball train "as hard" as Bonds does. Taking steroids in 03 really isn't that credible seeing the fact that he's gotten an average of 45 HR and 100 RBI in his last three seasons. And why are we even having the conversation anyway? It's not like Bonds is ever going to get caught anyway (whether he did them or not). And whether he did it or not people will still consider him one of the greatest of all time. They'll never find proof, it will just continue to be "well, my trainer told me, and his trainer told the press, I heard Barry did this." The only way any of us will ever know is if Barry admits that he did them (which will probably never happen-see Pete Rose), or if he stupidly does them again and gets tested and is positive for them.

LOL just look at the guys head, it's clear he's been juicing. But if this voice is confirmed to be legit, Bonds is going to have to have a lot of explaining to do since you can't detect an undetectable steroid.

5. Watch the Gary Sheffield interview. Bonds was a jerk to him and Sheffield denies Bonds ever used steroids. They were friends, they trained together, and Sheffield lets everyone know how hard Bonds works to be the best.

I don't know if that means a whole lot. Sheffield expressed anger over Bonds selling him out to the media in that interview. I don't think Sheff would turn around and do the same to Barry because that would make him look like a hypocrite.
