But look at the difference in their swings. Bonds takes huge hacks and tries to "lift" the ball whereas Ichiro is running out of the box and is slapping at the ball and usually swings down at the ball and hits it on the ground.

good point, and also if ichiro was one step slower then he is now, he wouldn't have as many hits as he does

The human body doesn't work like that....again there is proof that his helmet size grew form a 7 to a 8 1/2..Please do not tell me that your skull size grows as you get older...and check out the 2 links i provided and you'll see the huge differences in head sizes...

Add to what Vinceanity said - The human body stops growing at 25. Yes, 25. You might get fatter, more muscular etc.... but you will not get much taller and your head won't get much bigger without some help.

I think the point that is being forgotten is the fact that we are lookin at bonds like he is your everyday guy. HE IS NOT!!! he is obsessed with baseball and fitness. he knew that to prolong his career you had to prepare it. he knew he could not always be a base stealer but a power hitter he could work up to. he had pop already but if he focused on it and planned for the change it wold prolong his career. he planned for this. i hear people talk about how great shape clemens is in. but when he was wearin red sox gear, he was tall and slight build. he looks like a damn linebacker now. BUT OHH THATS DIFFERENT RIGHT? Bonds is an a-hole so we really want him to be dirty. Do you think that bonds is the only player with ties with a dirty trainer? Do you believe for a second that he is the only guy connected to a personal trainer who supplies roids for other people? bonds trainer is the first to be caught. guilt by association is b.s. Cause if that is the case then all caminitis active teamates would be still under suspension. but they are not. bagwell biggio and the rest of those guys who worked out with or were friends of caminiti. And another thing, how come nobody is talkin bout caminiti's MVP in 96 being dirty? this guy openly admitted to doin roids. and i am hearin on talk radio shows people doin interviews tellin bout how much of a gamer he was and great teamate. HAVE WE FORGOTTEN HE IS AN ADMITTED CHEATER? no room for speculation. he told you. I DID ROIDS!!! oh but i guess its ok because at least he admitted it right?

And why should we belive this punk personal trainer when all this time he said no no he did not use roids but now its all on tape and he is admitting it now? maybe there is a deal attached to that confession maybe. "if you admit to him using, we can grant you some sort of deal for a lesser charge." if faced with that 99% of people would sell their own mamas out. especially when faced with a crime associated with drugs.

I have to agree with him on this subject. Everyone who talks badly about Bonds and steroids but chooses to honor Camaniti, a known cheater, shouldn't even be allowed to watch another baseball game for the rest of their lives. I have yet to hear one negative remark about Caminiti when it came to him being a cheater. "Oh, he was such a hard worker." NO!!! He wasn't, he was on roids!!! And he admitted it!!! I know this is an hour or bereavement for him, but let's not go honoring his baseball accolades (sp?) because he was a cheater and he deserves no praise for his skills. You are a hipocrite if you're going to accuse Bonds of steroids (which hasn't been proven yet!) and then go ahead and honor the skills of Caminiti.
