do you really blame Cubs fans for hyping him up? After coming off a series injury and his WS performance. He's not as good as the hype but also not as bad as he's playing now... He's still a young player and needs at bats and needs to make adjustments as young players do.

there's alot of see haha I told you going around Schwarber right now and it's weird.

The Harper/Strickland dust up was one of the better baseball brawls in recent years. Man, Morse and Shark ended up knocking themselves silly trying to get into it too!

Anywho, the Blue Jays are just murdering the Reds tonight. 3 HRs including a Grand Salami.

It's gonna be interesting to see what moves the Cubs make and when. This season is getting away from them in a hurry.

Giants broadcasters mentioned something about him being careful because of an ankle issue he has. Plus no doubt that Bay Area life is mellowing.

Astros keep rolling. 11-run innings when you trail by 6 help. ☺

thankfully the division is trash. They have time. If they would've lost the WS this season would be so much tougher to stomach haha.

Jays-Reds tonight featuring Happ vs Wojciechowski.

Their first time facing each other since that Jays-Astros deal involving those two 5 years ago. At the time of the trade I'm sure most thought the Jays gave up way too much for Happ given he did horrible in Houston before this deal happened. Even his first time with the Jays he wasn't anything special. But the Happ the Jays have gotten the past year has more than been worth this trade.

I think a lot of the credit for Happ's turnaround (other than himself of course) should go to Pirate pitching coach Ray Searage. Interestingly he also comes from a similar background as Jays pitching coach Pete Walker as they were both relievers in their MLB careers.

He was mad that Harper "stared down" his two homers 3 years ago in the playoffs. What was really happening is they were close to being foul so he was making sure they were fair before getting into his trot. Of course, Strickland being the hothead he is immediately stared Harper down for "admiring" his home runs.

Then he got his "revenge" 3 years later. Cool story.

Posey has had a concussion this year, so he's probably been told not to get involved in things like that. Also, he probably thinks Strickland is an idiot.
