I don't want Sonny Gray. Simply too much injury history for me.

If it was any other guy I'd be down. I just don't want to deal with that. He's finally healthy but is it lasting?

Twins may trade Ervin Santana after acquiring Jaime Garcia. Report also says Garcia could be dealt again if the Twins struggles continue. Crazy!

Gonna have to move someone at some point tho...

          Pham
          Grichuk
          Fowler
          Piscotty
          Bader
          O'Neill
          Sierra

Its a good problem to have! If they dont deal someone now, I bet this Winter.

Daniels is asking for quite a lot for a guy who's a rental. I'd flip him the bird and look for a less demanding offer for a pretty good starter.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting the Mariners are going to make another trade. Possibly DiPoto's biggest trade yet. According to him Sonny Gray is the player involved. No exact day for a deal to go down though. It's more or less industry rumblings.

I'm sure a lot of Mariners fans are nervous about this knowing that franchise's spotty record with "mega trades" especially since the turn of the century.

Some people believe the Mariners are heading for that Phillies/Tigers type of cliff so might as well go all out right now while you have a glimmer of hope.

Except for the sad fact that the Mariners were never contenders like the Phillies/Tigers were a little while back.

                        Goodbye Fowler

That leaves 6. We go into Spring Training with those 6 and see who emerges on the 25 man roster and then stick the odd man out in AAA and see how things play out and possibly trade someone at next years deadline.

I doubt it but I am hopeful they will shop him in the offseason to see if someone is willing to take his contract

Hated his signing at the time and hate it more today.

I wonder if Jays might go after Fowler, especially if Cards retain salary. Jays offer was similar pay as Cards offer but for 4 years instead of 5, so if Cards retain some salary, maybe Jays do go after him?
