Unless Dellin took that upon himself. I doubt anybody told him to put the tying run on in a very winnable game.

    That's just foolish.

Oh my God now Todd Frazier got hit and Iglesias and Gardner got into it. Benches clear for the THIRD time.

Clearly completely different. Robertsons pitch just runs in off in the inside part of the plate and just catches him, Betances is supposedly aiming low and away and misses by 10 feet in the complete opposite direction. It's just not a plausible place to miss. Throw in that's it's been a fiery game and it's very naïve to think that's an accident.

Yes situationally it makes no sense, but meatheads will be meatheads, regardless of whether it's a good idea, as Wilson has just shown.

          Well...that was intentional.

My, what a drama of a game.

This game is an example of why I think MLB needs to implement consequenes surrounding pitchers hitting batters.

Jeez, the NYY/Tigers game has the feel of something from back in the day. Way too much shenanigans and craziness going on there.

Anywho, Koehler did a pretty good job in his 5 innings for the Jays, too bad video review and lack of bats ruined his day. I'm just marking time til Alford and other September call ups arrive to Toronto.

Haha perfect response by McCann. Gets beamed in the head, next at bats takes it deep

Gary Sanchez apparently took a swing at a defenseless Tiger on the ground, then backed away to safety.

                    What a stand-up guy.

I've only seen one video. Can you link the second one?

Also I like that "scurried away" was changed to "backed away to safety" . I saw the video and he barely moves after the punch.

Just saw the Miggy one too. He's gonna get suspended for this for sure.

I was watching the Yanks/Tigers, but had the sound muted. Why were Verlander, Castellanos, and Martinez going at each other in their own dugout? It looked like Martinez was unhappy at Castellanos and Verlander told him to take a hike...

I think Castellanos was telling them about how Sanchez sucker punched him and the other two were arguing over why one of them (I think V Mart) hadn't got involved to help. Or could be just about anything else
