Chapman was just fine in the 1st half. The issues are more recent.

I don't agree. He's been bad since that SNB game at Wrigley

Can't believe the Rays traded away Tim Beckham and then signed Danny Espinoza on a free. Doesn't even take hindsight to say that's a shocker of a deal, Beckham was having a very slid year even before the absolute tear he's been on for the Orioles, while Espinoza has just flat out stunk all year and been dumped twice by pretty average teams.

I was about to come and post about this...I've been extremely busy the last 3 weeks, so haven't been able to pay as much attention to the whole league as I usually do. I had NO idea Beckham had been traded until I'm watching this Red Sox/O's game. Had to go check and see when it happened...I don't get that at all. The Rays waited years for this guy to do something and when he finally starts playing well, they flip him for a nobody prospect? Weird...

Exactly. I get that they got Hechevaria who was a defensive upgrade at short and Brad Miller was coming back from injury, but Beckham is more than good enough to be the utility guy, if not just play instead of Miller as Miller has been pretty terrible this year. Honestly, the year Beckham is having he wouldn't look out of place playing middle infield for just about any team. He's been hitting it really hard all year, yet they just dump him to a division rival? Just really weird

Home run #10 for Rhys Hoskins! This kid is so fun to watch!

First player in MLB history to reach 10 home runs this quickly. Wow.

Was he a highly touted prospect? I hadn't heard of him before, but it's cool to see a new guy get called up and do so well.

Yeah he was. Hit 38 bombs last year in AA. He's a power hitter with good plate discipline who doesn't strike out like most power hitters. He had 29 in AAA before getting called up this month

Cubs pouring it on now. Nice to see this after such a lackluster performance across the board last night.

Nice to see the Cubs really pour it on tonight. Great nights for Rizzo and LaStella.

Greg Holland seems to have just fallen off a cliff lately.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Andrelton Simmons with a go-ahead (and eventually game-winning) 3 run HR as the Angels come back late to beat the Astros. Woooooow.

Planned on going tonight but draft day kept my *** home. Damn.
