And LA has a pulse? Puig doubles off the wall to make it 4-1 Dodgers. Cueto over 100 pitches and doesn't make it out of the 4th inning.

I tell ya, you're OS' version of Jayson Stark. LOL

Anywho, Biagini has the O's number and the Jays are nicely nailing the O's playoff coffin. Again, i'm impressed by the two kids on the position side of things for the Jays. Buck Martinez made the point the other night that Urena seems to fit the mold of a guy who will outperform his minor league career. Being in a big league atmosphere has allowed him to become more focused. I love the silent intensity he brings to the plate during his ABs. I know it's only September baseball and you got to take these kind of performances with a shaker of salt but I feel like Urena could be a valuable MLB performer. Glad to see him hit the walk off tonight.

Cardinals win to remain 2 back of the Cubs. I honestly didn't think we'd have meaningful September games.

Verlander straight dealing tonight. 1 hit thru 7 2/3 innings thus far.

Embarrassing farce of a losing streak is finally over.

I didn't really care about sports that much when Oakland did it, so to see Cleveland do this is simply incredible and unbelievable.

Watching Cleveland's 21st win via the Tribe's feed...at the end of the game the announcer (don't know who it was) says, "It may not be a world championship, but in some ways this is probably more rare." Uh...ya think? They crown a world champion every year...we haven't seen a winning streak like this in 82 years.

It's amazing what Cleveland is doing. No matter what happens this is something to truly cherish. I'm sure Cleveland fans are riding the wave of this kind of success the way they did with the Cleveland teams of the '90s.

Braves put up 7 runs on Mad Max tonight...Gohara looked brilliant. Would be nice if they played like this when it matters, but this has been fun to watch.

Mets just walked in Rizzo as the go-ahead run. And Contreras knocks in 2 more behind him.

Despite the loss Marcus Stroman looked EXCELLENT tonight. The guy easily has the inside track on being the ace of the Jays rotation for the next few years especially with all the question marks surrounding Aaron Sanchez these days.
