Gotta imagine Archer is gone as well.

    Archer

    With Nelson coming back

I love would to get Archer! Getting him we could definitely complete with the Cubs with this rotation.

FWIW Rays VP of Baseball Ops just went on MLB Roundtrip and proclaimed moving Archer, or Colome is not in their plans.

Yep heard that... But I cant imagine he would come on there and say we're trading Archer next.

Oh well of course not. However, their stance all along has been to at least start the season with Archer.

Besides that, is anyone really convinced that Archer can be the ace of a contender? I, like everyone else, am enamored with the swing and miss stuff. But, that really hasn’t translated to sustained dominance you would want from your horse. He’s also 29 and within 200 innings of Arrieta in terms of career innings pitched for mileage purposes. I am sure for a small market team like Milwaukee the controllability alone may prove too tempting, but I just think a slight false narrative is being driven on what Archer is exactly.

If they snag Arrieta though, and then swing an Archer Deal. My lord, buckle up in the NL Central.

            Yep, all very true.

But get him out of the AL East and into the NL facing pitchers instead of DHs, I bet that alone cuts his ERA by half a run.

The price is very, very high... We'll see if we pay it since we gave up a lot in the Yelich trade.

Last I heard that asking price was Santana, Burnes, Hiura & Peralta.

Both Florida teams have now gotten rid of their Top 4 PAs from 2017.

They should just do that whole Bugs Bunny sawing Florida off thing.

**** that place. The two worst franchises in baseball and I'm not sure it's close.

I love the Yankees getting Drury. He's one of those "unsung Yankee" types they have in the fold come October.

I like it too solves the issue of who is starting 3rd for the opening season and also can be plugged in around the field. I hope he is not used as a trade chip for pitching later on.

In no way do I want to come across as "raining on your parade"! I firmly believe loyal, small market baseball fans, are the best fans in sports. I am hoping this Brewers Team becomes a contender for at least this 5 year window. Now, with all that said. I am a lifelong Cubs Fan who is now enemy #1 in the eyes of all my Brewer Fan Family Members and friends. So pulling for them as a feel good story on the side has become quite tough with both teams being competitive at the same time, for the first/only time since that 08' season. I go to Miller at least 3-5 times a year to catch games, and the fan base most definitely deserves a sustained winner.

Haha, no problem man... I know you weren't.

Archer is off the table now... Sounds like we're gonna add Cobb to our rotation, which I will take!

I look forward to battling your Cubs and CB's Cards for the Central this year! Gonna be fun TV!

He can play the outfield as well. Very versatile player.

Going from winning the World Series to most likely the worst team in baseball. Ouch.
