Maybe. Or could become the everyday 1st baseman if he performs up to his capabilities. Higher upside than Moreland if everything is clicking.

I know the Jays rotation is pretty much set but man, i'd love it if they could get one of those guys out there on some bargain basement deal and Garcia could be the long man/swing man.

You can’t bench Hanley. He’s going to have to play a lot of first base now.

Also a higher downside because if he has something like 430ish plate appearances his 22M option is going to vest for next year.

For me, Yankees/Red Sox is must watch anytime...but it was really special from about 1999-2007.
Fair point. I wish I was a fan back then so I could have seen that era.

This is my prime era and when someone mentions rivalry I refer to this period instantly. So when people mention rivalry now I am like what rivalry, lol.

Probably worth a reminder that there is a certain jersey retirement ceremony taking place in San Francisco this summer...Barry Bonds' #25 on August 11th vs Pittsburgh is the one I'm referring to.

No worries. I think we're just so used to 1 transaction every 3 weeks that today was a bit overwhelming for everyone. Feb. 19th and we finally have an offseason.
