Aye, 200 mil for J.D. Martinez? Woe to any team that gives him that kinda money.

I'd give it if he was 25 or 26. At "his age" anything more than a 6 year deal is dumb.

I'd like to watch Heyward play defense there.

Seeing Posey, Crawford and Heyward would really make Giants games a must watch for me.

Heyward in a Giants uniform would be cool. Pence is gone! He'll be the right fielder exclusively. Also will have a position in the lineup. Heyward is a good young man. He has the contract, the World Series ring and if I am not mistakenly won another Gold Glove playing CF & RF. I wish Atlanta would have offered him a 5yr/60 million deal before leaving here. I think he would've signed it, but anyways. He is still can turn it around. He is doing it the right way! No PED's.....

Was reading an article about predictions of trades this off season. This was what they proposed for the Dodgers to acquire Giancarlo Stanton.

They project Giancarlo Stanton to the Los Angeles Dodgers for OF Joc Pederson, RHP Brock Stewart, RHP Mitchell White, LHP Caleb Ferguson.

To me, thats highway robbery by LaD. Jeter should be asked to take a drug test for that trade. Think it starts with Verdugo and Buehler/Alvarez

Not if the Dodgers eat that contract. If the Marlins pay down some it then I could see a guy like Verdugo being in the deal, but if we have to take on the contract in its entirety then this is about as good as it's going to get.

Read theyre more interestes in Ozuna being they want a right handed bat. Wonder if this is a spot where Healy gets dealt

There is no way the Marlins are going to get a great haul in the deal unless the eat all of Stanton's contract.
