Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
According to Jon Morosi, SF has interest in trading for Jackie Bradley Jr.
Looks like if this goes down, Stanton or Martinez is going to Boston imo
Morosi also reports that the Twins have expressed interest in Raisel IglesiasLast edited by kenp86; 11-13-2017, 10:01 AM.Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment

Red Sox to talk with Carlos Santana and Logan Morrison.

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
There is some small amount of hubbub in the Toronto market that Alex Anthopoulos may target Josh Donaldson either in trade this offseason (or if the Jays are shopping Donaldon at the deadline) or as a free agent next winter. It would make a lot of sense since AA brought Donaldson to Toronto and seemed to have a good relationship with him.
It's at least something worth monitoring.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

We'll see how it goes. Jeff Blair is really championing the idea of trading for Christian Yelich to the point that he would be happy with the offseason if that's the only thing they do.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
I don't mind what they're doing with the farm system because that has been good so far. It's the major league roster which needs addressing. Jays for once need a complete team. Not just a team with 1 way to win on offense and hoping the pitching staff bails them out if they don't hit HRs.
Baseball is the one sport where you can rebuild while still contending because getting 1st pick vs 20th pick really doesn't make much difference. At least in other sports if your team sucks you know getting top pick increases chances of landing a star.Comment

Really hoping the Angels pass on Logan Morrison. That guy is a mondo douchebag. Screw him.Comment

According to Rays GM Erik Neander they're listening in on offers for Chris Archer. Basically it's in the beginning stages with the Rays expecting to place a high price tag to any team willing to trade for him.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
