Sheesh, the BoSox and Yankees can't even play a ST game in a decent amount of time. The game today was 3 hr 46 mins.

Jon Lester is working on bouncing his throws to 1st on purpose.
It's certainly an interesting idea. Didn't work out well today when Efren Navarro was playing 1st, but apparently it's because he didn't know what to expect.“We’re working on the Jordan to Pippen bounce pass,” Lester said of a personal daily practice regimen that includes first baseman Anthony Rizzo. “In [Butterfield’s] words, `Just eliminate all tension and bounce it over there.’ We’ve been working on it early in the morning.”Comment

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's only on fielding plays. Nationals first-round pick Seth Romero was sent home from camp today for violating club policy.
Which is even more interesting when you remember that in college, Seth Romero was suspended his sophomore year for being out of shape, then suspended his junior year for failing a drug test and posting a picture of himself in uniform holding a bong, then 2 days after he was reinstated he was kicked off the team for good for fighting with a teammate.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 03-05-2018, 07:49 PM.Boston Red Sox
