What in the name of 2011 is going on? With the number of OFs Milwaukee has, it makes no sense to trade for another. I call that news hogwash.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine. -

I can confirm that the trade talks with the #Dodgers and #Brewers are for Matt Kemp and Ryan Braun as well as Dodger prospects. Right now, the deal is hung up one specific player the #Dodgers don't want to move.********

Velaquez over 20 pitches in the first inning...good thing the Phillies bullpen is nice and rested...oh, wait...never mind."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: Opening Weekend Discussion Thread
I mean, it would make sense for the Brewers if they got to unload Braun's awful contract since the Dodgers are only paying a fraction of Kemp's contract and I assume this arrangement would be transferred to Milwaukee.
But why the hell would the Dodgers take on Braun's contract, aren't they trying to stay under the luxury tax? Plus just as a baseball move, why would you want Ryan Braun? He just ain't that good of a player anymore. Plus the Dodgers are set at 1st and have depth in the OF. And the Dodgers would be adding a prospect? Why? Shouldn't the Brewers send a prospect or two to balance the Dodgers taking on that contract?OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: Opening Weekend Discussion Thread
Very nice recovery for McCarthy a minute ago. Gave up a couple hits but kept a level head and didn't nibble. Got out of it with only 13 pitches too I believe.
ALso, I don't know where the Braves found these guys but the role players are carrying the team right now lol.Last edited by bravo2208; 03-31-2018, 06:57 PM.Braves | Titans | VolunteersComment

An hour for only two innings. The Phillies certainly aren't helping the pace of play.Comment

I absolutely love how that inning went. Not only did we get the lead but we made Velasquez throw a TON of pitches. Saw Kranitz on the phone already a couple minutes ago. I almost sort of feel for Phillies fans.

You can say a lot about Dansby Swanson, but you can't ever say he doesn't hustle...what a double."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: Opening Weekend Discussion Thread
I wish Darvish was pitching with more urgency and efficiency tonight after the pitching staff went 17 innings last night. Full counts, not challenging hitters, been a very mediocre debut for him.
