I think this is the first time I've seen this...a team "walked off" thinking they had won, but the replay is reversed and the game will continue. He was out...

There was no contact at all. Cervelli whiffed entirely

Which feed are you watching? I'm asking because the replays I saw, he clearly got him on the elbow...it wasn't even questionable from what I saw.

Tigers. Even if the tip of glove did catch him, there was nothing near indisputable. I never saw contact.

That's why I thought they may not over turn it, but the jersey clearly moved from so I thought he was out.

Regardless of the outcome, the Pirates pitching staff is allergic to the strike zone.

I agree with you about Donaldson. He is probably hiding his problems from the team.

And about the Jays botching injury situations -- Tulo is having surgery for his bone spurs on Monday. Somebody will need to explain why that didn't happen months ago.

That just has to be the most awkward walk back to the dugout ever.

If only this had happened in the playoffs. That would be the most craziest thing ever but nope, it happens on opening day for two cellar dwelling teams LOL.

Right after the Polanco HR they showed a real good angle of the call that shows they were actually right to call him out (I couldn't believe they overturned it at the time).

They showed a split screen angle of the tag being applied and it almost looks like Cervelli held the runners legs back so they couldn't get to the plate (not sure of the legality of that). Either way though, he was actually tagged before he reached the plate.

Kris Bryant is striking the ball real nice like.

I'm really starting to not like Hoskins.

This ump has a very liberal strike zone lol
