Re: 4/23 - 5/6 Game Discussion Thread
I wouldn’t go that far. The offense will be solid, especially after Acuna comes up, and the starting pitching will continue to get better. It’s just the bullpen that’s utter trash...

The stink of Jim Johnson remains....I think the bullpen needs an exorcist.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

The bullpen is garbage, but I can't dismiss that the team is over .500 so far against last year's playoff's teams and 6-3 against the 2 teams leading the division so far.
It's 1 game, just like the debacle in Chicago was 1 game. The next week or so will tell us a lot about this team as we finish out April, and have a full month of games to look at.Comment

So...are we banning him for this blatant nonsense? 80 games? The season? Either seems fair, tbh. He's supposed to be a role model, and he's just doing this sort of thing right out in the open.

Re: 4/23 - 5/6 Game Discussion Thread
Jesus Christ the Rockies suck at home. It seems like every damn home game, they have at least one inning where they give up a **** ton of runs with two outs in the inning. They got off to an amazing start giving up 4 runs in the first inning.
Now onto the **** show that is this 7th inning. Rockies led 5-4 coming into the 7th. Padres got a one out two run home run to make it 6-5, followed by the Rockies getting the second out on a fielder's choice tag out at home.
SINCE that second out, the Padres have racked up 7 runs on a single, a walk, a single , a walk, a single, a pitching change, an infield single, a double and a walk. ALL OF THAT with two ******* outs!
That **** show just finally came to a merciful end. It took around 45 minutes and 66 pitches between three pitchers JUST for the top of the damn 7th inning.
Going into the top of the 7th, the Rockies led 5-4. Coming into the bottom of the 7th, the Rockies trail 13-5. Facepalm.

Well, Astros sure have unleashed the Gerrit Cole we have been waiting for since he came up to the majors. That plus "fixing" Verlander right away last year plus sustaining his level of play just makes me tip my hat to the 'stros front office.Last edited by Master Live 013; 04-24-2018, 09:22 AM.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Their work with Charlie Morton is sensational enough.

I don't know which one it is, but I've come to not stand the Yankee announcer that stretches out his S on the home run call. "Sssssssssee you later!"Boston Red Sox

Let them blow a game in the later innings due to questionable managerial decisions and the narrative will pick up where it left off.Last edited by countryboy; 04-24-2018, 08:16 AM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
