I like him a lot, mostly because he's the only Yankees announcer I've had. (I've only been a fan since 2013.)

Kay is alright. Worst for me is when the Yankees play Baltimore and I have to listen to the MASN crew with Gary Thorne. People seem to like him, but I can't stand him. Maybe it's runoff from having to hear him in the NHL and MLB 2K games I dunno, but I just have never been a fan.

Michael Kay isn't bad when you just boil him down to PBP. I find the conversational tone on YES broadcasts to be pretty good. They know how to strike a balance between conversation and observing what's going on in the game. I really wish Sportsnet would try to push this kind of philosophy a bit more. Buck and Pat are good but it's a VERY traditional broadcast. At least when Shulman is in the booth he tries to get some conversational stuff in there.

Anywho, the Jays got their collective asses handed to them by the Yanks and it looks like it may have kickstarted their offense a bit. Hopefully they can be more competitive against Boston and get things going back in their favor. I do like that through necessity and natural progression of things we're seeing some of the future on the club right now. (Hernandez is a lock to stay no matter what. Not sure bout Gurriel though)

Replay strikes again. Or, doesn't strike in this case?

Braves couldn't figure out if they wanted to challenge and then were told they lost the right to challenge because they took so much time.

No complaints with the umpire making that call. Absolutely ridiculous that teams are allowed to take like 20 seconds in between plays to decide if they want to challenge it.
Reason #102 why MLB's replay system is pure BS

P.S. Snitker. Just challenge it. What do you have to lose?

Reds are going to get more wins this series than they had all previous games combined.

George Springer might be the worst base stealer I've ever seen. He's pretty quick, but I swear he is never successful with his numerous steal attempts. Just then he was so far off that he stopped and tried to go back. Genuinely not sure what he's doing so wrong?

Very disappointing start to this Cincy series for the Braves. Absolutely can't let a 3-18 team outplay you in every facet of the game.

This is where it would be nice if Minter hadn't decided to suck tonight and give up 2 runs...

What will be the way they lose tonight? Errors or walks?

Gosh, how many extra inning games can one team have?

Minor thing, but I love Ender going with two hands to make that catch to end the 9th. Too many times I see guys going for casual catches in situations where they will literally lose the game if they make a mistake. I don't care if you're a 10 year vet or not, we all make mistakes, do the things to limit them.
