Damn Trout and Mookie combined for 300+ home runs the other night...that’s insane. If they didn’t not sure how it’s relevant as that’s what I was meant. Mookie was the better player the other night.

To be fair, the true measure is how far the HR's actually went.

We can't use statcast though, we need actually measured results.

I'd just like to not see a double standard, then. From now on, nobody is allowed to display a number that is computed by hand or discovered through consolidated data. That includes things like this:

Mookie Betts has hit 69 home runs as a leadoff hitter, tied with Dom DiMaggio for most in Red Sox history. Betts is playing in his 535th major league game tonight; DiMaggio played in 1,399 games in his career, all with the Red Sox.

I didn't have to show my equation, but people kept saying it was 500 feet. I still say not even close.

By the way, do you think the people at Statcast still trust their own distance value? Why don't you look at the leaderboard for yourself.

I mean the Betts/DiMaggio stuff is all very countable. There is no dispute about quantity of home runs or games. There is absolutely no doubt that Mookie Betts and Dom DiMaggio have hit 69 home runs as a leadoff hitter. There is absolutely no doubt that Mookie Betts has played in 535 Major League games, or that Dom DiMaggio played in 1,399 games. Again, those are all VERY COUNTABLE AND PROVEN AND CONCRETE STATS.

It's incredible what you're using to create an argument.
