Hanley staying red hot. He's been a thorn in the Yankees side.

Do the Yankees have an advert on their tarp? Please tell me that I'm imagining things.

Pretty sure the Cubs have adverts on their tarp. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yikes. I guess it's not far fetched to imagine that they'll be on the uniforms soon enough if not on the backs of seats. I'm worried where they'll put adverts that we haven't thought of just yet.

I think people exaggerated in their mind how bad ads would look on uniforms. The NBA started doing it and it looked fine. Its not even that noticeable.

It is so fun to have a good baseball team again...loving this Braves team.

I'm of the camp that unless it results in a sharp decline in the prices of tickets, it's not worth it for me as a supporter. I don't mind ads in between innings because they have to keep the lights on, but overlays, uniforms ads, legal disclaimer ads (looking at you Pirates) are a bit absurd. Clearly, the announcer and club didn't need the legal help of Bigfee & Associates to generate the same disclaimer that's been around the league for a long time.

This vent brought to you by our good friends at Operation Sports.

Also, I totally forgot that Bautista is a Brave. It feels weird because I've only ever known him as a Pirate and a Blue Jay. Though I know he's played for the O's and Rays too but still, it was like seeing Brodeur in a Blues jersey.

Bautista isn't a Brave...he's wearing a Braves' uniform, but he hasn't done anything yet to make him a Brave.

I think predictably that franchise fell off quite a bit after Bobby Cox. Good to see them developing strong players again. Acuna may be a franchise cornerstone piece.

I love Ozzie's swing. It looks like he just throws the bat out there and then the ball travels far.

Gohara has looked pretty good tonight except for 2 batters where he just completely lost the strike zone.
                              - And just as I'm typing that he throws a hanger and gives up a home run.
