Sounds like the Cubs and Orioles are discussing Manny Machado. Sentiment is if the O's continue to flat line they could start trading players in the next couple of weeks.

That could get fun and interesting. Would the Orioles want Addison with how he is struggling?

The Orioles waited a year to late to trade Manny (if they actually trade him). They aren't going to get the type of return people are expecting due to the fact that Machado is in a walk year. Teams don't give up a ton for rentals anymore (Unless he agrees to an extension).

Would think Russell or Baez would be the main piece. Then some combo of Happ/Almora and a pitcher. Don't think the Cubs will part with Schwarber.

What's interesting is that Jay Bruce was out with a 2-unassisted and didn't even get in the box.

Yes, but the Mets' also had the wrong line up posted in the dugout. The only lineup that was different was the copy given to the umpire/held by both managers. That's really on Callaway...he (or someone on the staff) should be double checking that was is posted in the dugout matches what was given to the umpire.
