Folty never saw a 110 pitch 5.0 IP start he didn't like.

When/if he actually learns to pitch he's going to be really good. He has such amazing stuff, but he wastes so many pitches and lets his mechanics go too often.

On the flip side, it's a pretty early hook for Darvish. Only threw 61 pitches.

When/if he actually learns to pitch he's going to be really good. He has such amazing stuff, but he wastes so many pitches and lets his mechanics go too often.

Maybe he could win a Cy Young with Atlanta, then go to the Cubs as a free agent to have a no doubt HoF career?

The upside of that is he wasn't able to have That One Inning. However, it puts a lot of strain on this pen.

Maybe Darvish wasn't feeling well.

Maybe like 95% odds he was safe, but I guess they didn't have conclusive evidence that the hand was on the base before Monty swiped him. That's the only angle I could sort of see.
