The Dodgers will be fine. Don't you worry none.

It's funny to think that the Braves should be trying to take 5 out of 6 from Chicago if they hadn't gotten screwed over. That lone loss would also be the crazy game they were up 10-2.

I'd like to meet the person who would say this team hasn't exceeded their expectations at this point.

Who would've thought, that on May 17th the Dodgers and Marlins would have identical records.

I'll just drop this here...Mike Trout will turn 27 years old on August 7th (coincidentally just a few days before Barry Bonds has a jersey retirement ceremony against the Pirates). Around that same time, or probably a bit before then, Trout figures to surpass 60 WAR for his career. That 60-70 WAR threshold is what some use to back up a HoF candidacy...and he's there at 27. A good time to be alive and a baseball fan.

Seeing the Phillies and Braves having this kind of success so far this season reminds me of 1993. It would be nice if they somehow both made it and played in the playoffs.

BTW per Rosenthal the Phils have the money and the will to go after Trout and/or Machado next year. That would be HUUUGE IMO.

Rubber game between the Cubs and Braves will start late due to rain. Bummer.

Cubs TV team said this is the third Lester start in a row that's been delayed.

Ya...I was bummed. Turned it on and saw the tarp being put on the field; that's two disappointments as Soroka went on the DL and Fried is getting the start instead. I was looking forward to Soroka vs Lester.

Any word on how long the delay might be? Anyone local? I'm not seeing any word on either team's Twitter feed.

I was just checking myself and nothing...just says "delayed". Never good when they don't have a projected start time.

Agreed. I have a feeling this one gets PPD. The weather radar is basically just showing storms circling over Atlanta like there's a low pressure system parked there.

                            Mookie Betts is unfair.

Supposedly they'll be making a decision in about 10 minutes on if they can play tonight...
